These organic vessels are inspired by textures in nature. Each was handmade in Linz, Austria, and then shipped to Estonia to be wood fired. I was invited by Estonian artist Laura Põld to fire these pieces at the international wood fired ceramics symposium held in Kohila Village, Estonia, when she took part in 2020. The wood firing created an array of natural colours on the ceramics, adding to their rustic look.
